Due Diligence Services

Pöyry operates as a technical and environmental expert in company acquisitions and real estate transactions. We offer impartial condition studies, property management assessments, environmental due diligence assessments and construction project assessments.

The condition study focuses on the condition of the structures, building elements and technical systems at the time of inspection. As an outcome, clients receive a summary of the technical condition of the property and the most significant repair needs.

In our property management assessment, we focus on the maintenance organisation, maintenance cost level and authority-related regulations, such as zoning, building permits and encumbrances. Major risks of authority issues and maintenance costs are presented in the report.

The Phase I environmental due diligence assessment is a fast, not-in-depth environmental assessment. Analyses of soil or groundwater samples are not included in this phase, but the need for such further analyses are outlined in the report. A preliminary cost estimate is given for recommended further actions.

The construction project assessment provides an expert opinion on the design, building specifications, construction management procedure, time schedules, agreements and construction methods of the construction project.
